Republicans Block Vote to Release Epstein Files
On September 10th, 2025, the US senated voted in a 51 to 49 vote to table (block) the release fo the Esptein files (which would be released as part of the NDAA or National Defense Authorization Act). This vote occured approximately 3 hours before the assasination of Charlie Kirk, a far right conservative activist.
This vote was split very clearly between Republicans and Democrats (96.08% of Yea voters were republican and 95.92% of Nay voters were democrats), meanwhile all present republican senators were endorsed by Trump.
This is not a conservative vs liberal or republican vs democrat situation, this is holdding people accountable for hurting the group of people that we have the largest responsibility of protecting. Figures like trump have been seen multiple times with Jeffery Epstein.
My prayers go out to Charlie Kirks family, but do not let his death divide or distract you, because thats what they want (they being the top 0.001%), because they operate under the principle of divide and conquer. They attach labels to us and divide us so we dont realise that we all want whats best for the world.
We are in terrible times, but please remain united in wanting whats best for everyone. The problems of the world arents caused by LGBTQ people, immigrants, or any other number of marginalized groups. They are caused by the ultrarich and elite, but they use minorities as scapegoats and "culture wars" to distract us from the fact that they hold the power to solve or start problems in the world and abuse it for profit.
Stay United.
